Back in January, I purchased an inexpensive, used station wagon and had nothing but problems with it. Since I am a tradesman working with both ornamental sheet metal and hardie siding, I decided that between all the mechanical issues I was having with the wagon and the day to day need of a pickup, it was time to find one. Unfortunately, I had several thousand dollars left owed on the wagon that I knew it was not worth. I was backed into a corner financially, between the negative equity on my car and having just purchased my wife a pre-owned Honda just a month prior. I figured used was my only way to go, but after weeks of looking around and number crunching, I determined we were financially incapable of purchasing a dependable 4x4. For what seemed like a last resort, I went by Big O and was immediately greeted by Robert Garcia and explained our situation and told him that I didn't care what features or layout the truck had, I only needed 4WD and a monthly payment within our limited budget. I have never seen a car salesman work so hard to get a customer a deal like Robert did. I did no haggling and asked for no favors, yet he worked like mad to make sure we got something that exceeded my expectations and was still within our means. I came in expecting to finance a purchase, but after having leasing explained to us, we decided it was the absolute best option for our budget and our limited credit histories. I drove off that day in a 2017 Ram 1500 Black Express quad cab with the Rambox system (which is a godsend for a subcontractor), with more features than I even thought possible for what I had to spend on a truck. Robert was incredibly knowledgeable and an absolute pleasure to work with. He is a genuine standout in the field of car salesmen.
