I issue a warning to anyone who seeks to use this company for the scanning of old media (negatives, film, VHS, etc.). Although apparently a good company with good service in the past, the COVID-19 era has led to extremely slow service - with no updates or reasons for the delay. Months will go by with nothing happening. Then when they do start work on your project - they will reject it for arbitrary reasons. For me, they rejected it because they said the type of plastic bag used to enclose the negatives did not meet their standards. I, am a rule follower, and if they had told me what type of plastic bag they wanted me to put my negatives in, I would have simply complied - MONTHS AND MONTHS AGO. Then, bad customer service. They tell me I will be allowed a credit for future business with them. Then further bad customer service - a phone call to the company - they explain that they will mail back my entire order and then allow me to move the negatives from one plastic enclosure to the plastic enclosure they preferred, and that I can send everything back for them to process. I am assuming in six to nine months from now. I wonder though then if they would find some other arbitrary reason for rejecting doing the work and keeping the money I paid. It is possible my experience is a complete outlier. The other reviews on here seem very favorable. I am jealous of those people. Such a let down for such an important project. I just hope they have not damaged my personal property. And I really hope they will send me back all of my personal property. Just terrible.
