If you can muster the strength to drive to another hospital do it. Onslow Memorial Hospital emergency room literally sent me home dying of diabetic ketoacidosis. I didn t know I was diabetic but a simple blood or urine test should have shown that. Instead I was discharged and told to follow up with a gastroenterologist for nausea and vomiting. I walked out of the ER bent over in pain and still vomiting just like I was when I got there. Thank god I was able to make it to another hospital the next day where I was promptly admitted to the ICU and started on insulin. I feel sorry for the residents of Jacksonville having to depend on Onslow Memorial.
