Be warned, this hotel allows non guests to use the pool if they eat at the restaurant so the pool is often very crowded . No sun beds left for hotel guests and very slow drinks service at poolside. This is not acceptable when hotel guests pay so much to stay here.
Last night they informed guests that they cannot use the pool for the whole day today because they are setting up for a party. We were only given a few hours notice of this. They didn t even tell us this when we checked in. I would not have made a reservation here if I was informed about this. It is misleading, deceptive conduct. Until now, I always believed that the Shangri-La name represents high standards of hospitality. This hotel is destroying the Shangri-La reputation. After this experience, I will not stay at any other Shangri-La hotel.
