The 5-Star rating is INACCURATE -- my experience rates 2-Stars, no more. I was disappointed with my "service check-up" on my one year old water heater sold and installed by Spengler. The technician-salesman who came to the house proceeded to do a complete plumbing system inspection of my home in which everything is in good working order and without leaks. He then recommended a new water softener, new toilet, several new valves, and other items totaling several thousand dollars. He did drain and inspect the water heater as I expected. He also recommended replacing the water heater annode on the year-old water heater, which Spengler's own literature says should be replaced at 5 year intervals.
I feel that my experience was more in the nature of a sales call than a service call.
