We had booked a package together in the hotel in combination with the restaurant. We were very well received in the hotel. Got changed and went to the restaurant, where you can get to the elevator with a button. Indicated during the reservation that one person is allergic to nuts. At the table we passed this on to the staff three more times. This was no problem and we started dinner. The dishes varied and had a fine taste. Unfortunately at court number 5 it went wrong. A fish dish with nuts was served. Due to the loud ambiance, we could not understand exactly what was being served on the plate. My partner thought he heard some notes. We approached a staff member to tell us again what was served on the plate. This was told again, which made it clear that there were nuts on the plate. Due to a shock reaction, the plate was immediately taken back. The staff did not communicate with us at all, no one came to say that it was a mistake and that this will not happen again. Then addressed the sommelier about this, that this could be a matter of life on death and that we think it is extremely bad that no one came to make an apology. He reacted a bit surprised and continued my work. AGAIN, no one came to the table to make an apology.
In our opinion, you eat in a star restaurant, where you hope that these kinds of mistakes should not be made and will certainly not be solved like that. We had high expectations, but this has shown that it is very assembly line work and not at all the personality you would have hoped for if you eat in a star restaurant. High expectations, shame about the effect it has received. I hope that for the people who also have something bad, the restaurant will be more attentive and will take this seriously.
