We ordered countertops through Home Depot, and this was the contractor that installed them. Overall, with some slight hiccups, we had an extremely positive experience. Everyone at Stone Systems was knowledgeable, polite, and informative. I felt that they were straightforward and didn't attempt to conceal any pertinent information.

The few hiccups we had was one of the slabs that was installed on the bar of our kitchen was loose, and there was a hole in our sheetrock after the installation. We didn't discover the wobbly slab until a day later, and we weren't sure how the hole came to be in the sheetrock. We called their customer service, and they sent out an installation manager within a few days, who repaired the wobbly slab. He hadn't repaired sheetrock before, so he said he was going to send a different installation manager to repair the sheetrock at the end of the week. The other installation manager wasn't able to make it out until a little over a week later, which made me a little antsy because we had someone coming to install the backsplash quite soon. When the installation manager came out, he claimed that the installer didn't create the hole when installing the countertops, BUT he had no problem repairing the hole for me, which I appreciated. I honestly don't know whether or not the hole was caused by the installation or not - all I know is that it wasn't there before the countertops got installed! So again, I appreciated that they went ahead and repaired it anyway.

Stone Systems covers a VERY wide area in Central Texas, so I can imagine their installers and installation managers are very busy. Because of that, I can understand it took them a few days to work our repairs in. Overall, I would go with Stone Systems again. John and Joe were very helpful and knowledgeable.
