Charged almost $400 (roughly double average cost)...

Charged almost $400 (roughly double average cost) for a coolant flush and a "minor service check". Then two weeks later the wife's car suddenly stopped working. Battery was good as all lights, signals, radio, etc. functioned properly and showed it still carried a charge. Got her car towed here. An hour after drop off they claimed it was the starter and would charge about $600 and it would take two days to get the part from O'Reilly. So first they were charging $220 for a part that was $120 and could be picked up in 10 minutes which I did on my own and tried to charge $300+ for "labor", it took less than 30 minutes to swap out. Too my surprise the car still wouldn't start, so I had O'Reilly staff test the old one that Toyota service folks said was busted and the new one, which only take a few seconds to test them. Well, they both worked, so Toyota services was trying to get me to pay $600 for something that wasn't broke and they knew it which is fraud and unethical business practices. If they just said what the real issue was and not try to defraud me, there would be no issue.

Odd how the "owner" only responds to positive marks.
