City Lights' legendary past life as the birthing place of the beat poets (leading to publications of some of the most influential poetics in America) is what drew me to this bookstore... but the reason I could barely tear myself away was the poetry room upstairs. An entire room just filled with amazing poetry.
If I brought a sleepingbag and a toothbrush, could I please live here?
