Booked for delivery before 12 noon next working da...

Booked for delivery before 12 noon next working day, and my parcels weren t collected. Called the next day, a Saturday, and nonchalantly told neither collection nor delivery are guaranteed. So why did I pay 50% more than regular service if it s not going to get there when quoted?
