My 87 year old mother was taken by ambulance here for breathing/heart issues. ER staff was attentive and kind. Mom was eventually moved to the 4th floor, then 2nd floor. I can't say enough about all the nurses on both floors. Helpful, friendly, and kind to both my mother and me. Although my mom ended up passing as it was simply her time, I will always be thankful to the nurses and especially Dr. Hemmat and Dr. Younes, too, for everything they did for mom and me while mom was in their care. Truly, Dr. Hemmat is the kind of doctor you hope to have when you or a loved one find yourself in the hospital; he was unfailingly kind, informative, always took time to explain things and answer questions, and even called afterwards to offer sincere condolences. While I am still heartbroken over the loss of my mom, I am glad she passed peacefully in such a great place and in the care of such amazing staff. As an aside, I also found front desk staff helpful, the free valet service invaluable, and the food, both delivered to mom and what was available in their cafeteria, very tasty and fresh.
