This school has the most outrageous grading system...

This school has the most outrageous grading system I have ever seen in my life. An 84 is considered a C which does not work in the favor of the students at all! So when a student earns the grade of an 84 it is calculated into the GPA as a C. When applying to colleges, this is a huge disadvantage because the GPA is now comparable to other students from other schools who only receive a 75. And on top of that, if you are looking to get your child into a top tier university, a lot of those top universities will not even consider or accept your application if they see the letter C on there. Personally, as a parent, I believe it is better to send your child to the next town over to receive a Christian education at Hawthorne Christian Academy, where they are actually considered a college preparatory high school. But if you want the gpa of a 2.0 when you really earned a 3.0, I suggest Eastern Christian.
