Seeing this monument is so emotional... Since we know what people just like you and me lived just because they had an invisible difference since they were born, you can't be insensitive while seeing this tribute. This is the only monument that was built for them, and Amsterdam should be prouder of this and give it move visibility. We heard a lot about Jewish people and gypsies but we often forget that there are also other kind of people just like gay people who were persecuted.
Very emotional. Even if you're straight, you can't come there without paying tribute to thousands of gay prisonners who died during the WWII
