Very poor customer service, refusal to correct obv...
Very poor customer service, refusal to correct obvious defects in their products. I would reconsider spending thousands of dollars on equipment from a company that does not stand behind their product.
Barrett identified that their barrel was infact damaged "missing chunks of metal" as described by their technician and they send it back to the customer with a tag that says unsafe. BRILLIANT!!! thank you... Any other manufacturer would take this as an opportunity to research why this occured and send the customer back a replacement
Most manufactures consider chunks of metal missing from the chamber bolt lugs a major manufacturing defect. Not Barrett, they said that is a customer issue. Barrett's snotty tech wrote a report that this was possibly from overloaded ammunition. Well that is an assumption. not a fact, or a question. Barrett does not know if that was the problem, they did not even ask.
Mr. Barrett, please fix your service department before it ruins your company's name.
