They jumped the gun on the new regulations for supplying Diabetic Supplies. I was told by their representative that they were my new provider as assigned by Medicare. They coned me for information concerning the supplies I was using. I told them that I was happy with my present supplier and did not need supplies at this time. I specifically told the rep that I did not want a new meter. I thought I was done with the shyster outfit but two weeks later almost $300 worth of diabetic supplies for a brand new meter kit AND A NEW METER KIT arrived. I called Am Med, only to get a song and dance. The rep said they would not take back the supplies.

I immediately contacted Medicare and learned that- l. Am Med should not have contacted me. 2. Medicare does not assign vendors. 3. The vendor has to take back the unopened merchandise.
I immediately contacted Medicare, as of this day October 22, the only reply from medicate is that they Paid Am Med. WHAT A RIP OFF TO THE AMERICAN TAX PAYER.

On, October 16, I received another batch of unrequested diabetic supplies from Am Med. Called Medicare again, I was told to hold on to the supplies in their mailer. As of this a.m. October 22, I am still caught in the middle. Time for my diabetic supplies for my wonderful Bayer Contour meter and I have to pay for them. Because I have 180days of supplies still in the mailing pouches on my table FROM AM MED for supplies that do not work on my machine.

Oh! By the way, no one ever answers the phone at Am Med and you are put on continuous hold by Am Med. If you do get through it is to an answering machine that is full.

RATING SYSTEM SUCKS HERE. THEY SHOULD NOT HAVE GOTTEN ONE STAR. PUBLIC BE AWARE OF THIS OUTFIT.
