They sent me a re-replacement Hard Disk so yay!

(Wrote a glowing review below - unfortunately the replacement drive failed shortly after - I'm going to RMA the RMA)

Excellent service of HGST and Western Digital Hard Disks.

My HGST laptop disk died under warranty and I took it to Electronics City to get it replaced (make sure you read the howto pack guide on dangers of ESD).

I had to sign-in in at the gate - they give you a token, then told them my RMA Number at the desk inside (apply for the number Online BEFORE going all the way). They took my disk and sent me a replacement REFURBISHED Drive, in a few days (3-4 days), from HGST Japan via Fedex.

Note: that contacting them (Flex) via phone is difficult - they'll invariably ask you to call the WD HelpDesk which is excellent - both technical and non-technical so save yourself the time and deal directly with WD for Q&A

Make sure you connect the data cable via testing your replacement disk or you'll unnecessarily panic about them sending you a bad disk. It's worked great so far so I'm happy.

WD disks are serviced quicker - while you wait - in a couple of hours - or so I've heard - ask.
