On 24/12 by telephone I made a quote for the new car I purchased; not having the license plate and the delivery date yet, it was saved according to the car model to get a rough idea of the price. On 3/1 I am notified of the license plate number (but not the delivery date) and I decide to go online and insert the license plate in the quote to correctly check the difference with the car currently insured. Here, be careful if you should do it too: when you enter the plate, you are asked whether to save the quote or buy it. I did "save", of course not knowing yet the delivery date, but being the lower price quote than what I currently pay, the genialloyd system, due to an internal error, has continued the practice, activating in all respects the insurance on the new car and, alas, deactivating it from the "old" one, leaving me literally on foot. Hence the ordeal with the call center, no secure information, a rebound between them and the administrative, promises of contact that actually never happened. When I get to know the delivery date of the new car, on 9/1 I call (I recorded all the calls with the call center to cover my shoulders) and the operator sets the coverage for both cars for 10 day / 1 in such a way as to ensure that I can go with the old car to the dealer and collect the new one. I explicitly and voluntarily asked several times if the old car was really covered and I was answered yes: from multiple checks carried out on 9/1 and 10/1 on the motorist's portal the old car was NOT covered by insurance. I have been insured with genialloyd for more than 10 years and since nothing ever happened I have always considered it reliable. It is the second time I have encountered problems and they have not been able to solve them, literally leaving me on foot for their problems.
