Friendly vendors with a wide array of goods to gander at. I'm a fan of local craftmanship, second hand clothing, and locally grown/cooked food. Reccomend bringing reusable bags to shop with. The market is set in a historic neighborhood - half indoor and half outdoor. Street parking in the residential area around the market on the weekend is spotty, but not impossible. The outdoor and indoor sections are accessible by wheel chair and stroller. People do bring their dogs and it can be a little cramped in the indoor portion. But overall it's a great DC market.
