We were part of a party of six that dined at the Libertine on Saturday 30.07.2016, and given the reviews and comments from other patrons our expectations were for an enjoyable outing, this was not the case, we ordered our drinks and Starters. The only comment about the so called Japanese Sea scallops, they resembled something you would see in the freezes section at Coles, Woolworths or the local corner fish shop, I was not aware that such perfect round shapes occurred in nature. We ordered our main courses the meals did not arrive together but spread over a 25 minute spacing by which time the rice we had ordered, that was delivered with the first meals was cold, as we were the last to receive our meals long after the other couples had finished, the table took another 15-20 minutes to clear dishes. Similar story with coffee and desert, desert arrived some 20 minutes after the coffee was served, in all a very disappointing experience which we would not seek to repeat any time soon. D.C.
