The Getty is always worth it, if you go just for the views that's reason enough. The photography collection is second to none in the world so there is usually a good show there, the perminant collection is interesting but not what you come here for.
Tip never go here on a weekday after about three you will want to shoot yourself because of the traffic regardless of how you choose to get there, although if you take the bus you will not have to pay $10 to park.
