-46 yrs old and first bad review I ever wrote - it's about CARFAX!

CRAFAX posted the wrong info on my truck, saying it was totaled when it was never wrecked. I was in a accident when a car came into my lane and hit the trailer that I was towing and totaled the trailer. I found this out last week when I was trying to sell my truck and a man pulled the report and showed me that it said total loss of vehicle. It was 2 years ago when this happened. MY TRAILER WAS TOTALED NOT MY TRUCK

I called CARFAX to report they put the wrong info on my truck; they said we don't put down wrong info. I asked them where they got there source of info and they said the Police report or insurance company.

CARFAX IS WRONG

Police report does not say that and I called the insurance company and they said we do not have time or want to notify CARFAX.

I want this off my report, so I called back CARFAX and they will not talk to me because I am not a dealer? So I have to do every thing online "ok" I sent them info showing it was the trailer that got totaled and not the truck a week ago with no reply back. Emailed them daily to get this resolved with still no response.

My truck is worth less than half of its true value because of CARFAX and nobody will want buy my truck until CRAFAX fixes their mistake.

If you have had CRAFAX note the wrong VIN number on your vehicle, please let me know HOW or IF you were able to get CRAFAX to correct it.
