It was fantastic in every aspect.

It was fantastic in every aspect.
Although I didn t expect to stay in Truckee, an ill-timed snowstorm during a work driving route led me quickly to this unexpectedly gorgeous hotel.
I love the log cabin vibe and very cozy vibes. They are also dog friendly!
The staff was also very accommodating and helpful. In fact, when I made the unfortunate mistake of losing the key to my van, Ellen at the front desk alerted the rest of the hotel staff to be on the lookout for it. She also retrieved a shovel for me so I could attempt to unearth the key in the seating area out front where I d spent time the night before.
I never found my key but really appreciated Ellen s efforts to assist me in the search.
Lastly, the hotel is in a great location with restaurants and bars within walking distance.

(Side note: if you ever need a locksmith in the Truckee area I cannot recommend Low Price Keys enough. Don t bother with any other company.)
