My husband and I came to the dealership to pick up...

My husband and I came to the dealership to pick up his work truck that was being serviced at Larry H Miller. While we were waiting we decided to walk through the vehicles. We were not in the market to purchase though, decided to look. It took us walking in to the show room to get someone to help us with this. It felt as if us requesting was an inconvenience. Once we found someone, we decided to test drive a 2020 Dodge Ram 1500 Limited. Upon return we asked the sales guy if we could run some numbers with our trade in to see what it would take to purchase this vehicle. Another inconvenience. I was ready to commit to purchasing that particular truck when the salesman stated we could downgrade the vehicle to get the numbers where we wanted them The Sales manager came back and reported that what the salesman told us was the best they could do Mind you, our credit was never ran, and there were no other offers given. I was disgusted at this point. What an insult for someone to say that to a person who is looking at a 70,000 dollar truck. At that time my husband and I left, drove to Earnhardt Dodge in Phoenix and purchased the exact vehicle we looked at there with no issues and/or insults to our character.

My brand new 1500 had an electrical issue within the first few weeks of owning it. My family works in commercial agriculture and I understand that these things happen. We utilized the local dealership for the service, as I purchased the vehicle in Phoenix Az at Earnhardt Dodge. We took the vehicle to Larry H Miller, in Tucson Arizona so we would not have to chance the vehicle breaking down. I was not sure at the time what was wrong with the truck. I am sorely disappointed with the service department s customer service. Upon dropping off the vehicle we were told there was an issue with one of the computer systems and it would have to be replaced and reprogrammed. I was never given a time line, in fact, I had to hound the manager to get updates on progress. The part they needed was Delayed for over 2 weeks. I am not sure how parts works with this big of a cooperation, but blaming things on the mail delivery systems shouldn t be the response. My truck has been in the service department longer than I have had the opportunity to drive and enjoy my new purchase. The service manager did not even go as far as to offer me a loaner vehicle. I had to request one. My truck was dropped off 5/18, the loaner was given 6/1 after I insisted everyday until it happened. I am a nurse and I have quite the commute to Tucson. As you probably understand, the present climate does not allow me to call off or alter my work schedule. Being without a vehicle creates quite a hardship for me to do my job and continue to provide for my family. Again, I understand that there are times when a vehicle needs service, however, I fully expect the dealership that carries the brand name to go the extra mile for customers that purchase their product.
Yesterday, I was contacted to pick up my Dodge, as the maintenance was FINALLY completed. When I did a walk around my truck I noticed tape residue on my drives side door and mirror base. The service department guy took it back to clean it off. Once back, he reported the tape residue melted on the plastic to my mirror base. I opened the drivers side door, there was melted plastic on the seat. The vehicle inside looked like it made its way through a major dust storm. It was disgusting inside, as if they left the windows down and kept it outside. This is a brand new Vehicle. BRAND NEW!!!
I will say, I will not be returning to Larry H Miller for any further maintenance or purchases in the future. Also, I will not be recommending this dealership to anyone in the future. I am thoroughly disgusted with this service department and how things were handled. I would think the manager of the department would have contacted me after I left this dealership and tried to make amends, at this point I just want my truck back. I will never use them for anything ever again and will be contacting the cooperate officer as well.
