Stayed there for just 2 nights in March and hence this is not really an in-depth review. Check in was fast when I arrived in late afternoon and I got room 907. It took a bit of time to get to the room as there were 3 lifts and it seems like the lifts are also used by visitors to the restaurant at the top floor and by employees. The room had greyish stone tiles in the entrance and the bathroom and a thick and soft darker carpet in the rest of the room. There was a desk and chair, a small integrated sofa and a king size bed. The TV over the desk had a decent selection of channels. The desk contained a couple of sockets made for international plugs. Wi-Fi was included and worked fine when I was there and it was also quite fast. The small fridge contained a selection of drinks and a Coke was about 5 NZD. There was also a drawer with selection of snack.

The wardrobe had a few hangers but also included a good iron but an ironing board that was a bit of balance. The robe that was supplied was thick and fluffy. There was also a small safe. There was no master switch for the lights in the room as far as I could tell so I had to switch of every single one at night.

Bathroom was a bit small but had a shower corner of decent size. There were the usual amenities (shampoo, shower gel etc) but they came in bottles that made it difficult to get the soap out. The shower worked fine but it would have been great with more places to hang towels in the bathroom. I had a city view and hence I got a view to Auckland s famous sky tower.

I did not have breakfast in my reservation, but this was served on the 13th floor and had a lovely view to the Auckland harbor. The location of the hotel was quite good as it was possible to walk to the sky tower but also the harbor area with all the restaurants.
All in all, a good stay. I would have appreciated a better lift situation as there was a bit of waiting to take the lifts. The bathroom would also have been better of there had been a few more hooks to hang towels on.
