Keeping it short and simple... This year I was evaluated by the Marfan Clinic at Stanford. Dr. Liang and his coordinator Sunny, started this my experience. Dr. Liang is an expert in Marfan, Loeys-Dietz and other related syndromes. Less than a week later, I was having open heart surgery with Dr. Michael Fischbein and Dr. Craig Miller. These gentlemen are the best in their fields. I was not an easy case. It was only 3 weeks later when I returned to Dr. Fischbein for open heart surgery #2. Dr. Liang waited until after hours to greet me by ambulance. He stood next to me and guided the team waiting for me as they worked hard to stabilize me. These men are special.
