I purchased a family membership earlier this year. We have gone many times over the year. Thankfully my child is still a toddler and is easily entertained. The play area for younger kids is good, but everthing else leaves much to be desired. The permanent exhibit is in desperate need of updating. They have the same stuff from when I visited as a kid, but now most of it doesn't work. There was only one good special exhibit all year that was about prehistoric creatures. The others (DEA War on Drugs and Water's Extreme Journey) were not interesting and out of place for a fun kid's museum. We went to a special Superheroes event day last week and it was just as underwhelming as I had expected. The only thing different was that they had three extra craft/activity tables in the entrance and some extra workers/volunteers. One of the special activity tables was literally a tub of water with a normal sized cup and a tiny cup (to show how gravity works?).
