Adam Cohen Review of Security properties residentia...

I had a very similar experience to the most recent review. The final bill I received when I moved out included the line item of "$300 - security deposit" . They had paid back my deposit (as mandated by the WA Governor during the pandemic) and then charged me for this in my final bill, like it was an expense I had incurred. They also had very very high charges for paining and cleaning that were significantly above any actual costs they would have incurred. Their final bill was less a reflection of reality vs. a brazen attempt to maximize revenue for a departing tenant.
Their online portal was broken and could not accept an ACH bank transfer, so they were able to pocket an extra $25 or so in fees (almost certainly above what they were charged) for my paying by debit card. Multiple emails have gone unanswered. If this company really cared, they would respond to emails and phone calls vs. responding to online reviews in order to give the impression that they care. Very poor service. Extra lame for making an effort to pretend to care when being so damn poor in customer service when it's not in the public domain (as can be seen by several of the reviews below).
Edit: Really says a lot that email after email goes unanswered but there is a response on here within hours. And you can see from the other comments that I'm not alone in having an issue with response. It is clearly the way you operate. Your operation is driven by $$$ and nothing else, and now you are being called out on it. For the record, I don't and did not have a pet. Just ads to the impression that you guys are making it up as you go along. Yes, I paid through central billing, which included $10 in fees for the privilege plus a $20 surcharge. Literally money for nothing. If you want to respond, please reply to any of the emails I have sent on this matter, including the information I've requested.
