I was given another persons criminal record details (ACRA) by mistake when I was handed back my personal documents. I think the gentleman was interviewed before me. I went to the embassy for a b2 tourist visa and was refused and wasnt even told why, the american female interviewing me was very rude and hostile and wouldn t let me answer her questions, she just cut me off! She loved the sound of her own voice . She needs to fix her attitude and should also be aware that we have data protection laws In this country and she should take more care when handling British citizens personal and confidential information . To carelessly give me someone s very private, confidential and personal information shows a complete lack of care, intelligence and professionalism. I now feel my interview wasn t conducted correctly and she could have looked at the mans criminal records and thought his details were mine when I do not have a criminal record . Disgusting unprofessional embassy . Shame on them .
