I was a little uncertain about taking my kids to OMSI because they get bored very quickly with everything, but I was pleasantly surprised at how engaging the exhibits were throughout most of the museum especially in the big room with the old generator. There are so many great physical science experiments for kids. There is lots of stuff to touch and put together for little hands. There was actually too much to do for us and we left after three and a half hours because we weren't prepared for all of the activities available. The kids did not want to leave so I suggest bringing food or money for the eatery inside of the museum. Our trip to OMSI was somewhat impromptu so we weren't prepared to stay more than a few hours, but there was certainly enough there to keep the kids busy for a bit longer.
