We are staying during the renovation and it's been fairly quiet, woke to ocean sounds and beautiful views. At night the grounds are really dark so it was fun getting around and finding our room in the one tower that is open. The rooms are dated but very nice and most staff have been friendly. Feels a bit like staying at a tropical Overlook Hotel (from the Shining).

We did end up finding our way down to the beach and to the sister resort, both had good snorkeling. Looking forward to try this hotel out again under the Westin name.
