My 90 year old mother was in this hospital in April, 2016, admitted for stroke and testing. Although they admitted her quickly and efficiently, there was a nurse on the second floor that needs to be terminated. She had no compassion, was in a hurry, drug my mom off to the shower like a rag doll, rushing her and demonstrated nothing but impatience. She slapped shampoo and soap all over her like she was a dog in a tub. The soap was in my mom's eyes and she has glaucoma. She was unnecessarily rough with her. She should be ashamed to deliver that kind of care. I expect more from a BAYLOR facility. I used to work in x-ray at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas and was totally unprepared for the lack of empathy this nurse displayed. Baylor is known for good nursing; however, this hospital needs some attention to professionalism and prevention of injuries while in the care of their staff. This particular nurse will cause an elderly person to fall, if she hasn't already done so.
