This company is very deceptive as it relates to job oppurtunties so please beware of Pivotal Retail Group as a whole because they have horrible Representation! I applied for a job in Michigan and I received a call from a recruiter named Raymond. He spent about 30 min interviewing with me over the phone going over plenty details. His final words to me was that he was "passing my information along to the higher ups in the company and to expect a call back from them to continue the job offer". After more then a week I received no call. I follow up called the company back and spoke with Raymond again . Raymond told me the position had already been filled and he was going to keep my records on file. I received no correspondence from the recruiter other then his last statements on the phone call interview saying he was passing my experience on to a hiring manager and that should await a call from a similar number he called on. So I asked Raymond specifically why as a corporate recruiter representing Pivotal Retail group, would he reach out to me as an applicant and specifally set an expectation that I was in the next phasis and expect a phone call from the company and not care at all to email me, call me, or give me any idea that anything changed in the hiring processes? How many employers have this preconceived notion that they want excellent communication and the top applicants but yet they themselves communicate and treat applicants with no integrity and no honor within business settings? Raymond, representing Pivotal Group let more then a week go by, hired someone within the company to fill the position (which he admitted) which he reached out to me for, and then had the nerve to be arrogant and throw his credentials at me belittling my concerns by stating "he's been recruiting for years." Downplaying and disregarding the fact that I was waiting for a call and communication that he knew I'd never get because he had a whole different plan. My advice to applicants, employees and customers who are already dealing with Pivotal Retail Group is to hold people in business responsible for handling business! Everyone has a job to do, communicationation to give and a reputation to keep so make sure employers keep their end of the bargain and dont except deceptive acts and promises made by employers! Speak out! Employers have a job to do to and it must be right ! Glass Door will be getting another review from me!
