I worked on the assembly line for 5 years without a hitch. All of a sudden, we have new management that came in and wanted to ramp up production. I filed multiple complaints saying that the increase in speed compromised safety procedures. After 5 reports, no one listened and one day on the line it came back on me. This line was moving faster than usual and as I was trying to assembly my piece, the belt caught my coat and started dragging me along. The coats normally get caught, but a slower speeds, it's not a problem. However, at this speed, it moved far to fast to control. Next thing I know, I was skammed into the wall bleeding badly. I was rushed to the hospital, where I had to have a couple surgeris on my ribs. The new manager wanted to blame it all on me and said my carelessness caused the accident. But when i told guys what happened, you did your due diligence and in the courtroom embarrased then i'm forever grateful for your hardwork and I can't ever repay you guys.
