Visited in January 2016. This resort definitely shows its age. The cabinet door where the mini fridge was stored wouldn't stay shut, the lighting was dim, the furniture and decorations looked dated. But nothing was dirty or so damaged that it posed a problem. The sheets and towels were clean and new, at least. And it was still a lot cleaner than your average low-end hotel room. This resort was perfect for someone like me who spends very little time in a hotel while visiting Disneyworld. It is one of the least expensive resorts so you can use the money on dining or souvenirs instead.

It took the longest to reach Magic Kingdom and the least amount of time to reach Animal Kingdom from this resort. Rooms facing the pool are definitely noisiest. The pool area sometimes has late night movies and music that are easily heard from rooms near the pool. Calypso rooms are closest to the buses to the parks and the lobby/cafe/gift shop.
