Aside from the significantly more expensive resorts, these All-Star Resorts are a great choice for those wanting to spend an extended time at the enormous Disney World. The All-Star Resorts are a set of three themed hotels, based around music, movies, and sports. And while the actual rooms are relatively basic as far as space and amenities are concerned, it's the additional services that really make these resorts worth their price. Shuttle services to and from the airport, shuttles to and from each of the 6 parks and Disney Springs (formerly Downtown Disney), a cafeteria with a good selection, pools for the downtime, and a laundry room for those extended stays. Lastly, it cannot be understated just how friendly amd helpful all the staff is at any time, despite their workload, my entire week spent there was spent without any troubles or issues. I would definitely say that if one wants a simple and easy experience, you can't get it more reasonably than with a stay at the All-Star Resorts.
