Just attended a Typography for Design workshop b...

Just attended a Typography for Design workshop by Wiztoonz today and I must write this- My first playing-around with letters started when I was probably 8 or 9 and my first tool was the Word Art on MS Office! I used to be so fascinated by lettering. I then moved on to hand lettering and I would sit and spend time reading about fonts and polish my handwriting. It was only until a few years ago that I heard about Typography. I then started reading about it online and quickly developed interest in logo designing. I never had a formal training in these fields but I soon became the creative lead at my office, designing posters for various events and campaigns, and all the while kept reading and keeping up with the current trends and also following my company s branding principles. But it was only TODAY that I got a real insight into the intricacies of typography and its usage in designing. This was an eye opener! I literally have a different perspective about designing now and I am looking at everything with a new eye! The three hour session was so well designed and so effectively communicated by the Instructor! I am in awe and inspired to take this interest of mine to another phase! Thank you Wiztoonz!
