I had just purchased two VIBE brand 6 ft long USB ...

I had just purchased two VIBE brand 6 ft long USB cable extension cords from this company, and was concerned that no matter what cord of mine I used to attach, or which one of theirs, there was a sizable gap between the male & female plugs while fully inserted, with the metal showing.
To me, whenever bare metal is exposed on an electrical cord, that means a hazard.
When I searched for the manufacturers phone number, I came across this website. My heart fell seeing the poor reviews.
I went ahead and made phone calls, but the default always went to an unanswered voicemail to an Arlene Sanchez. I had no luck with my calls being returned, either.
However, seeing the recent spate of replies, with their email, gave me hope I might get a timely response. To my great surprise, in an hour I received a reply!
I was told the gap is safe and that the company was working hard to improve their customer service department.
Hurrah! Best wishes to the customers here to receive exemplary responses to your extraordinarily bad service and this brand can repair their reputation.
