Gentrification seems unavoidable at every turn in the Bay Area, and this "hip" little spot seems to play into the "you get what you pay for" approach quite well. Unfortunately, at $20, brunch left me rather unsatisfied. Having the hash, a dish expected to overcompensate, I was served about 8 ounces of food with one halved cherry tomato, one sliced green bean, four small pieces of diced potatoes, and a mix of meat and corn. While the flavor was impressive, I finished long before my friends. I was hoping the iced Americano, an enjoyable drink here, would curb my appetite, but alas, I'm at the Starbucks down the street having an iced coffee and croissant to fill the void.

One of the many joys of brunch is alcohol, and while I hear the drinks are tasty here, I couldn't bring myself to pay $11 for a house mimosa. As for my friends, the other dishes on the table, which were less expensive, were much better-received. Also, the service was on point; all staff were both courteous and efficient. I'd just suggest asking some questions before ordering to get a better feel for the chef's interpretations.
