I knew this place only by hearsay .... "the bar of...

I knew this place only by hearsay .... "the bar of the trunk" ..... but my expectations were a little disappointed ..... normal bar with good but not exceptional pastry.
I expected something more characteristic, a showcase that reflected the company's tradition.
