I am a friend of Paradores and I stayed in a room with points. The room they assigned me left a lot to be desired. Views of the supply outlets right next to the restaurant. I requested a change at reception and they offered me a similar room that did not substantially change the conditions, maybe a little better, but very little better. It was clear that there were other free rooms due to the volume of people staying that we could see at night and at breakfast but they did not have the courtesy to offer us something better. They told me that when booking 2 rooms, one had a view and the other did not.

We wanted to try the game room at sunset. We saw that they had billiards, table football and ping pong. Billiards a real disaster had no differentiated balls, the game was incomplete and there were like four white balls with different sizes. The table football also deteriorated.

We notified the buffet breakfast when we arrived at reception that we wanted to hire it for the next day as it was not included in the points rate.

When we arrived at breakfast a lady approached us with little delicacy saying that we did not have breakfast included and when we told her that we had already notified the reception of her hiring she told us to tell her which breakfast we wanted because they had an extra cost and that the buffet cost more and When we told him that we already knew, he said that they had not warned him and on top of that he patted me on the arm as if to calm me down. Never seen!

Above, he does not take note of what we want but brings the paper so that we can sign the charge for breakfast. The horrible coffee, the quality of some products were not up to par with Paradores. The worst service. We had to get up to order every breakfast item, from coffee to fried egg, bacon never came and the lady I asked rudely replied that they would bring it already.

At the exit they give us a 15% discount check and tell us that it is to eat or consume at any parador. We ordered a hamburger and a salad and they tell us that it is not good for that we have misunderstood that it is only for the restaurant.

On top of that, I left the beret that I was wearing, I don't know if at the reception when checking or in the room. The fact is that the beret disappeared, nobody picked it up, neither saw it, nor found it.

I usually stay at Paradores and I have never had an experience as bad as this. On the contrary, it was always fantastic to be in a Parador. It is a shame because the situation and the views are excellent but the staff who attended us very poor. Maybe I would exempt the staff who prepare the rooms. They were clean and in good condition.

We were accompanied by some friends whom I had convinced to become friends with Paradores and I was excited to show them the benefits of staying in a Parador. What a disappointment!. They are not very important things but all together the truth gives a very bad image.
