A very rich place in science and history, the Oswaldo Cruz Foundation is a great place to take the kids. The Moorish Castle is very well maintained and in addition to its unique architecture, the large falls in their inner part of the history of health in Rio de Janeiro and Brazil, with the men's efforts as Osvaldo Cruz and Carlos Chagas. Its rooms also have a collection of insects and an interactive exhibition on the geometric shapes that form the Castle.
The Museum of Life unfortunately very apparent be scrapped, with no elaborate sets exposure, no major attractions.
The Butterfly Garden is simple, has three species of butterflies and their amount is not as significant. Nevertheless it is interesting to see the butterflies so docile, so closely.
On the outside there is the Science Park, park-shaped structure comprising a number of really cool science experiments to teach children. Unfortunately, this structure is what is most scrapped and start, in need of urgent maintenance. Despite this sad reality, it is still worth the experience.
