With caveats for signage and parking, 4.5 - 5 for flat out quality. We were looking for some light vegetarian fare for dinner, take out or delivery, close by. So I called for take out. We had the Sweet pea tabouli, the grilled artichoke, and the Persian eggplant (khashke bademjon). The sweet pea tabouli is made with quinoa. It's lemony, minty, and very good. The grilled artichoke has mainly the tender leaves. Perfectly trimmed, charred, and accompanied with a lemon zest aioli with a hint of garlic, not enough to ruin a date. The Persian eggplant is really a classic and perfectly executed khashke bademjon. It's a hard dish to find, even in Persian restaurants. Some reader's may recall the khashke bademjon from the old closed Ya'as Cafe in Glendale. This one is that good.
