We saw ophthalmology specialist group with Dr Kim. The physician barely asked any questions from the owners (one of the owners is a healthcare professional and know detailed history of our animal) about history/progression of our feline's condition. The physician rushed to give her recommendation for a 3,000$+ procedure/surgery without even asking background information from the owners. After we (forcefully) gave her background information, which I was under assumption that our feline had iris melanoma, the physician, stated it was a possibility but there was no definitive diagnosis and outcome of surgery/procedure could not be guaranteed. We were told we needed to undergo additional testing which was offered onsite, but the physician already saw the feline, and still the estimate contained additional 200$ internal medicine consultant fee (to run predetermined labs/scans). Overall I felt that there was no definitive diagnosis, physician did not even attempt to get background information, and pushed for a 3000$+ procedure with a 700-1000$ workup. I left the office with an impression that this a business first, and healthcare for animals comes last. I will not be returning or recommending this place to others
