I really loved the Great Harvest Bread Co when I went to college at UCSB. Their loaves of bread and cinnamon rolls were to die for. I was super excited to see one still in business in Anchorage. I tried to stop by on Dec 24th and then had a line maybe 40 people deep. I came back on Dec 29th and there was no one in line. There was also no product on the shelves. I was able to get my cinnamon roll, which was delicious and my husband got a breakfast sandwich, which he thought was tasty, though nothing to write home about. I wonder if they don t put product on the shelves or if they just hadn t gotten there yet after their three day closure. I look forward going back and will hopefully see shelves of loaves to pick from.
