Highly recommend visiting when in canberra. I would also recommend clearing your schedule for an entire day. As there is enough things to do and check out that could sink a ship. (Pun intended) even if you rushed yourself.

Lots of interactive exhibits, and information about all conflicts Australia has been involved with. The last post will be conducted everyday at 5pm 365 days a year and is an experience to attend (its free). it's also livestreamed to social media if you want to rewatch or find the previous recordings.
