The Jordan Museum is the new National Museum of Archeology in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. It is located in the Ras Al-Ain area in the center of Amman, where the Greater Amman Municipality and Amman's cultural facilities are located. Designed by architect Jaafar Touqan, construction began in 2005 on an area of 10,000 square meters. The Jordan Museum displays the Kingdom's cultural and historical heritage within the halls distinguished by its design, which is a comprehensive national center for science and knowledge that reflects the history and civilization of Jordan in an innovative educational style.
