The trip on the little train was brilliant. Now I ve read reviews by English people saying it was bad because there was no translation but I say embrace the opportunity to just listen to some French and appreciate the views which are spectacular! The driver of the train tells you stuff and is clearly passionate about salt! You stop to look around a little museum and another stop to climb a mound of salt for spectacular views! If anything it is worth it just for this. Saw flamingos and hummingbird moths and dragonflies flew alongside and through the train. If you have a big proper job camera, probably don t even think about using this as you are rattling all over the place. Use your phone and save your big camera for the top of the salt mound.
