You do not need to expect help from Volvo Cars for problems with the Volvo dealer, for example, why a dealer is excellent, or how you can still get a part that is officially no longer available.

My Volvo dealer said that I did not know anything about my Volvo 091 parking heater. That is why I asked Volvo Cars which dealer has experience with that. Instead, the Volvo dealer had to solve it himself from Volvo Cars, without any help, such as a workshop manual for this heater. I found it myself later, a manual published by Volvo itself.

The Volvo dealer was unable to solve a problem with the cardan shaft vibrating and humming after replacing the intermediate bearing. Volvo Car Netherlands did not help me and the dealer to solve this problem.
Not even after I have confronted the dealer with all the errors in the PTO shaft and did not want to do anything about it. Among other things, what was wrong with the propeller shaft after all repairs: two of the new universal joints did not run smoothly, the third was not centered, bent new front part, missing rubber to keep the splines free of dirt and the original front part did not fit more so that the universal joints would be neatly aligned.
Instead, I was advised not to go to a Volvo dealer for maintenance with my now 18-year-old Volvo. On the site I read something else: "All our dealers have specially trained technicians who treat every Volvo, from young to classic, with passion and dedication."

And that while my Volvo has been serviced by Volvo dealers for 17 years, of which more than 7 years at the last dealer.

Questions about whether a specific part is still available will be answered quickly and correctly.
