I was enrolled in the web design program. It was basically just minor Javascript and I don't recall anything about html, css, jquery, bootstrap, or anything else. Some of the first classes were... How to use a computer. They called it "Digital Literacy" and basically just told you about cloud storage. The fundamentals of programming class was just about history of computers and programming in general. A lot of schools will do the same thing, but this class seemed to be aimed towards people who have no idea how to use a computer and just wanted to know worthless information that you can learn from a quick Google Search and 15 minutes on Wikipedia. On top of you not learning anything new unless you haven't used a computer for longer than 15 minutes, the credits aren't accepted by a lot of other colleges. I tried transferring and was told that no one in the country will recognize these credits... Understandable given their content.
Secondly, I was charged an extra $5000 after I was enrolled and they had received my financial aid. The financial aid advisor said that they dont know why I was never notified about this extra charge prior. They also force you to purchase a new MacBook for $3000... At the time, the computer I received cost about $1k at the Apple Store. I ended up paying the equivalent of three years at a local university for the price of one there.
Honestly, a $20 course from udemy or coursea is better for experience and skill building than a degree from here. The degree is nothing more than a paper saying that you got ripped off.
