I love going to The Getty! We probably go five times a year - more when we have out-of-towners with us. We usually take the opportunity to walk up instead of riding the tram since it's a pleasant 20 minute stroll up the hill. We've never been disappointed with any special exhibits. We always have lunch in the cafe - kind of pricey for mediocre fare but there are tons of choices. Take time to have a tea or coffee outside and just people watch.
